Small king rooms – extremely small, yet cosy and sophisticated spaces. Each en suite bathroom features a walk-in shower and indulgent, sustainably sourced land&water toiletries. The king-size beds are beautifully dressed in Egyptian cotton sheets and featherdown duvets for deep, uninterrupted rest.

Rooms 5 – 7

Super king rooms – blending classic country character with stylish comfort. Thoughtfully furnished and beautifully balanced, they offer more space without losing that cosy pub warmth. The en suite bathrooms include walk-in showers.

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: from 3 pm.

Check-out: by 11 am.

We may be able to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out with prior agreement so please don’t hesitate to enquire.
Can I bring pets?

We have a couple of dog-friendly rooms, for which we charge £20 per dog per night (one per room). Please enquire with us directly to check availability of these rooms.

Are the rooms suitable for children?

Children are welcome, however, we only have double rooms, and aren’t able to add extra beds.

We don’t provide cots but our super king rooms do have space if you’d like to bring your own.
What are the nightly rates?

Our room rates are dynamic so they will vary by availability, season and room type. Typical pricing starts around £100–£140 per night, with premium and larger rooms costing a little more, especially during peak periods.
How do I book a room?

You can book directly through our website or by calling us during reservation hours, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. When booking direct, you can save at least 10%.
Do you have free parking and Wi-Fi?

✔ Free parking is available on-site.
✔ Wi-Fi is complimentary and accessible in rooms and public areas.
Do you have EV chargers?

We do not currently have EV charging points on site. You can use services such as Zapmap to find nearby charging stations.
Can I dine at the pub?

Absolutely! Our kitchen serves seasonal, local produce, including pub classics and hand-stretched sourdough pizza until 9pm daily.

Table reservations are recommended.
What nearby attractions can I explore?

The Great Decoy makes a lovely base for exploring the Test Valley countryside and nearby gems like Highclere Castle, known to many as the setting for Downton Abbey.
What’s the nearest train station?

The nearest train station is Andover, which provides convenient rail connections to London in under an hour and the South West. From Andover, The Great Decoy is approximately a 10-minute drive.
